| Part III. Edit Your Movie |
To make a movie, you string together a sequence of video clips and pictures. Almost always I need to trim the video clips so the movie has a smooth, tight flow. This tutorial is broken up into two video tutorials:
1. How to Add and Re-sequence Clips on the timeline |
2. The next tutorial is: How to Trim and Edit Clips |
NOTESYou've seen how quickly it is the add and re-sequence clips, trim or delete clips from the timeline. What will take you the most time is not clicking, dragging and dropping. It's deciding which picture captures the tone perfectly, which exact point to trim the video to, which music sets the perfect mood. If you are a perfectionist, write in big bold letters on a piece of paper right now and paste it on your wall. Good Enough is Good Enough.
You got to keep it sustainable. You're going to be doing a lot
of these movies. You'll naturally get much, much better with
time. Don't get all hung up with your first movie and get so
burnt out you won't do another one. |
